Steven has been involved in the theatre equipment business for over thirty years.  He founded International Cinema in 1975 and is the chief operating officer of the company.  Steve is a member of SMPTE and BKSTS.  

For many years Arturo has provided International Cinema with accurate, detailed, useful architectural plans and drawings.  His cinema sight lines, floor slopes, seating and projection room layouts, concession stand designs and facade concepts are exceptional. 

Dara has been with International Cinema since 1979. She is involved in all aspects of the business, has written technical manuals on 16mm projection systems and is well versed in computer operations and programming. 

Julio began with International Cinema in 1983.  He is fluent in English and Spanish with extensive knowledge of cinema equipment, computer operations, computer programming, builds our website and creates our equipment catalog.  Julio handles our South and Central American accounts.  

Francisco’s family was in the theatre business so he was introduced to cinema equipment at an early age.  He joined the staff of the Cuban National Cinema Technical Service (ICAIC) where he served in various capacities.  In 1968, he became chief of technical services for the Havana area.  Francisco came to the United States in 1980 and joined the staff at International Cinema in 1986.  He is a Dolby Certified Engineer. 

Barney has been in the motion picture industry for over 35 years.  He has been in both motion picture equipment sales and film distribution for most of his life.  Barney joined MTE as vice president in 1994.  

Pablo joined our staff in 1990.  We call him the “Metal Man” because he can create just about anything we need in metal.  Pablo Jr. also worked in the theatre business in Cuba with his father Pablo Sr. and his brother Francisco.   

Danilo has been with International Cinema since 1992.  He manages our warehouse.

Roger started with us in 1995.  He has been a carpenter for over 50 years.   He can create anything in wood.
