Projection Systems 4/5 Perforation
The Westar
5-perf combination 35/70mm projection system is sold as a complete system.
All built, assembled, and tested as a unit.
All components are custom fitted to assure extremely satisfying
performance and picture stability. The
system includes convertible 35/70mm projector head, 35mm optical sound
reproducer with Reverse Scan Analog Stereo Reader, 35/70mm Convertible
Magnetic Analog Sound Reproducer (Penthouse) Less Magnetic Clusters,
changeover, double shutter hi-lite system, water cooled film trap, fire
dowser, reel driving dual format change
kit for 35mm and 70mm, aperture plates for 1.85:1, 2.35:1, and for 70mm 2.21:1,
three 70.6mm bushings, three pre-focus rings, standard motor drive
assembly, spare framing and pilot
lamps, damping fluid, operators manual and parts list.

Westar 8-Perforation Super 70
Projection System
The Westar 8-perforation
projection system is setup for 70mm only.
It comes equipped with all standard features as above plus the
capability to run at 225 feet per minute at 30 frames per second.
The machine does not include any mechanical sound reproducer but
does include a drive system. The
drive is Phase Inverter Electronic system
and 3 phase sync motor complete
with microprocessor control and
interface.
